Nigel Richards (NZL) loses a second game, to Thacha Koowirat (THA), 423-304, and drops back down to second place 10-2 +420 behind Siu Hean Cheah (SGP) +716. It's Cheah's first time in the lead at this event, and he's demonstrating the confidence that Amnuay showed in him when he set his handicap to 0.

Half the top ten are now Thai players, despite the fact that the foreigners outnumber them 73 to 26. The only major country doing better at this event is Singapore, whose seven players are averaging 60% against the opposition, compared to 59% for Thailand.

Charnwit Sukhumrattanaporn (THA) scores a 612-298 win over Yash Gandhi (PAK), the first 600+ game of the event. 7th seed Charnwit has been having a run of bad luck this event; I hope this is the beginning of a change. Either that or he spread out his bad luck over six losses, and got all his good luck in this one game.
