LEWENDSKIS (11b, 39) can no longer be played, now that opp has played off the K. Sure it's acceptable. Definition: sporting equipment used for presidential, uh, snow jobs. Anagram: WILDS KNEES. Synonym and anagram: WEDEL SKINS. But I regress.

ORATE (b2, 24) over KART, KORE, KOLA, etc (1l, sometimes referred to as 1L, not to be confused with, 1I, sometimes referred to as 1i ;) Also known as "Fonts pairings.") Oratory on ORATE below.

John Chew explained:

opponent (after consultation with Messrs Logan and Wapnick) has replied L1 KENT (26).

...not to be confused with l1 KENT. ;) What's the deal, "after consultation with..."? Their OPP choice may be subtly influenced by knowledge of CGP rack leave, and any CGP choices either may now have are likely subtly influenced by knowledge of OPP rack leave. In the words of MH, "Whatever." What does KENT tell us? Opp did not have the second E or a D (otherwise ZEE, ZED). So, opp now picks just 3 tiles with low probability of getting 2 E's or the ED combination. Also, opp likely did not have an I, else KINE. We've got an Old MacDonald bag o' tiles, for sure.

Sour grapes dept: So, who'd rather have the AELORRT with 213 facing this board (after UNLIT, oops, I mean UNlIT) or 216 and ELNORU plus a stab at a 7th tile after CATTIER, or 214 and ELNOR plus two toles after INTRANT? But I digress.

For all those RELATORS out there, while 24 (ORATE) is 24 (KART, KORE, KOLA, etc.), I say, esp given opp's last play, we again go for tile turnover for ZEE/ZED, S for h11 and 15b, XI for 14a...tho now I am less thrilled about Q prospects without the U. But, at 57 down, go for the gusto. The unseen tiles consist of 19 vowels and 19 consonants, so I'm banking on at least 2 vowels, and wouldn't mind 3, in my 5-tile draw. Those still banking on a bingo on this board may be better off with KART (leaving ELOR) to unduplicate the R's and retain the E for ZEE. FLEER (2j, 20), leaving AORT turns over 2 less and scores 4 less than ORATE, and while it does set up another S-spot, I think our hope should be for an S at h11 than a bingo at o12 or 15b. I'm hoping opp gets vowel heavy

I've much enjoyed the variety of responses in this game, and feel the consensus games will prove to be one of CGPs finer moments.
