With four rounds tomorrow:

Cappelletto 12-1 +1553
Wiegand 10-3 +865
Felt 10-3 +566
Geary 9-4 +635
Cohen 9-4 +587
Lester 8.5-4.5 +545
Lerman 8-6 +284
Lennon 8-6 +282
Gol-roudman 8-6 +214
Denver Steele 8-6 +81

Denver had the only win against Cappelletto. Tomorrow will by groups of four round-robin followed by 1 king of the hill.

This time I am the beneficiary of a goofy pairing system, as opposed to getting slammed by it.

This is a truncated ersatz split round-robin, and of the top ten seeded players besides myself, I only had to play 2 of them Cappelletto at 2, and Widergren at 9.

On the other hand, i played 5 of the bottom 7 seeded players.

My understanding is the ratings committee's next job is cleaning up the pairings at the nationals. If their analysis is a as good as the analysis of qualifying, we should know what the best method is. Here's hoping they recommend it, once they determine what it is.
