Tim Anglin just erotized Mike Wise for 70 odd big ones, and an extra turn.
I brought in a mini TV to watch the hockey game. The CBC is showing a Howie Mandel special to lead in to a whole bunch of skipping policeman. God bless public television!
Mike has bounced back with "grannie" hooking an E to "bred", winning a challenge.
The best-coiffed player award is up for grabs, with JJCHEW and Andrew fighting it out. If Andrew ties it back before round 11, He's a shoo-in,
Tim has just clinched (I think) his game with Mike by playing "glimpser", challenged by Mike.
No other game has seen a word dispute this round, I will go and look for phonies.
Tim just tried "ude" and Mike kicked it off. Mike still trails by over 100, late.
Andrew beat Bernard by 2 points and then talked him into recounting. Go figure. Result to follow...
Waste of time, Bernard loses by 2
Tim wins
Shaun beats Jim to take sole possession of first place.
Andrew slipped up with "ud" vs Fran, but he has tied hs hair back and WINS the best-coiffed award. way to go!
Mike Wise has just tried (this is true) "twinners!!!!". Shaun Goatcher challenged it, saying "isn't that the one..."
Joel Wapnick has dropped by, perhaps on a scouting trip. Upon seeing "twinners", Joel wondered if "foghats" was next.
Jim has creamed Albert to go to 7-3 +344. He is the clubhouse leader, with Shaun still out on the 17th fairway.
Despite "twinners" mike beats shaun to tighten the field.
Mike has played the OSW word "rection" 4 letters too long to be any good here. (He missed noticer)
Joel is helping, unfortuneately, he can't do too much, having come down with a nasty whooping cough. Get well soon, and stop drinking my coffee.
Joel informs me that Jim is killing Fran. He will be 8-3, and at least tied for first.
Mike found and played "noticer".
My phony spy (wapnick) thinks he spots one. "revuing" As usual Joel is right.
Everybody in Detroit is happy tonight.
Jim and Fran finished 20 minutes ago. No other games are complete.
