qz Home Page

qz is a quiz program written in Perl, which therefore runs on Macs, Unix systems, VMS systems and even DOS PCs. I wrote it to help me study Scrabble words, but it's flexible enough to be used for many other applications. You can configure qz to concentrate on questions that you have historically had difficulty, questions that you haven't seen in a long time, questions randomly drawn according to a dynamic difficulty estimate, or questions that you've answered incorrectly recently. It doesn't have a pretty user interface though -- if that's a must for you, then try Zyzzyva.
