The second final game between Komol Panyasophonlert (THA) and Nigel Richards (NZL) takes place onstage five minutes after the first. Komol Panyasophonlert (THA) gets off to a shaky start, losing a challenge on NAPIER*, followed immediately by the first bingo of the game, Nigel's ROOTLED (73) for a 114-33 lead. Then Komol catches up to within five points, 167-162, with CRUNODE (82) only to see it set up Nigel's ICESTONE (149) triple-triple. Komol bingoes MoITHER (84) to pull back within a bingo, but Nigel draws the other blank and uses it for a 22-point blocking play (from his perspective, with one tile in the bag Komol had a 25% chance at a winning bingo).
Congratulations to Nigel Richards, the 28th BRAND's Crossword Game King's Cup Champion!
