I can see that RUTIN is going to get approximately one vote here so I am gonna try suggesting a compromise play, because I really hate the idea of fishing off 2 tiles and playing bingo or bust ( 50-50 it's bingo AND bust).

How about B5 TUI? It scores halfway between RUTIN and UT,compromises nicely on 'openboardedness" between RUTIN and OUT or UNLIT, and plays as close to midway between 2 and 5 tiles as we can get without an exacto knife. I dont see how we can justify sacrificing 4 points to save an "I" when there are plenty left to keep us cursing the rest of the game. In fact, I think I like it more than RUTIN every time I look at it.
