It occurred to me that I hadn't fully outlined the proper sequence of events that would lead up to my play so have rewritten my previous recommendation.

I vote for HODIFY. It's preferred over HOYFED, because of the E vs. I leave.

The play should be preceded by the following one-sided dialog: Did I ever tell you I was on the 1995 US world team, and I never play phoneys. Single challenge and all, you know. So, this is your first big open (no division) tournment, huh? That is a lovely dress, ma'am, and are those real pearls? I haven't seen pearls that have been hodified like that in years. You're just lucky I don't have an 'R' to play through. Wow, I almost missed this one. That is a nice watch, do you have the time? (as she's pulling out her magnifying glass to read her watch, you dump down six tiles, and reach for the bag, having previously scored the play).

I guess Charles was right about my coffee-housing ways. ;)

I used to be such a nice person until JG played pluviate using two blanks against me. I've been getting even with the world ever since. I'll keep working on my Richie Lund facial expressions to make sure that people don't challenge me. I may have to wear a few iron on tattoos, too. Your opponent should know that you can always find them, and how safe is anybody ever really?

Rating: ~1850, and dropping about 10 points an hour. Now you know why.
