My "survey says...."

Change CUlLIONS on last play to UNCO 7a ;)

1. CATTIER (5e, 18): points, turnover, front S-hook makes for a more dynamic board - 5LW's at d1 and h11 are more likely than bingos at 15b. Down by 46, no time for timidity, nor for sacrificing points, putting you in a must-bingo spot, with no guarantees of bingos on next turn. 2. UNLIT (h1, 15): RAT leave may be cattier than UN ;), but the race for the Ss and blank is on, and 5-tile 18-pointer of CATTIER makes it preferable to UNLIT. 3. UNAI (b4, 17): points and no hot spots made for opponent, tho RTT leave is wanting. 4. UT (b15, 8): For the would-be fisher, if I'm keeping TRAIN I may need the E at 5j, which OUT (k3) blocks. RETINA 7s can only start with a vowel at 12g. STRAIN 8s through m3 is another possibility. But any fish at this point for 8 points with this rack places us in a virtual must-bingo position. Yech! 5. TA (c14, 4): Sets up ZIN or ZIT (13b, 40) next turn, while also hoping for a UNITER 8LB thru 15j. Of course, what happens here is opponent scores 40 thanks to you, you draw UV, and now you're down by 82! Cute, but no cigar.
