[David Boys] I would infer from John's last play that he did not save "ee" or "es", but is reasonably likely to have saved an e regardless. therefore he is probably less likely to hold an 's' right now the straight odds would say, which is only about 20%. I would therefore prefer to leave the plaza opening for myself and set up an alternate big scoring S spot by playing at 11d (horizontal). Any bingo at 15b is gonna kill the the h11 spot that "wend" sets up. Besides, if we continue to have cons trouble we might need to use the "a" sitting at 14b next time. Also. playing vertically is inviting John to grab nice scores at c12 that kill the monster bingo spots.

Note that if Dave's assumption about my leave is correct, I am 16% likely to hold an S, compared to 22% with no assumption.
