Subject: Consensus Game #1, Turn #5
Message-id: <199802010525.AAA13275@coxeter.math.toronto.edu>
I was delighted to receive a record 51 votes for the fourth move of this first CGP consensus game. An initial split between the top two candidates (11D or D11 WEND) was correctly resolved (in Maven's humble opinion).
I've started posting the weekly position and extracts from CGP correspondence at Club #3, in the hope of stimulating the same sort of discussion there, and should say that if anyone else wants to do the same, I will accept proxy votes submitted by CGP members on behalf of any tournament-rated players.
Thank you all for voting. The move chosen was 11D WEND (13), you draw COU to your leave of LNS?, and opponent has replied j2 FINERY (32).

I will send an acknowledgement message to private votes unless they arrive right before the deadline, but not to cgp votes unless specifically requested. Don't forget to include your rating, and be clear that you're voting. That is, say "I vote for X and my rating is Y" somewhere in your message rather than "I think X looks like the best play, especially after reading about it all week".
