Tracy Cobbs further points out two voting errors that I regret would have narrowly swung the vote in favour of CoCOUNSEL. Since the clock has already been hit and votes have started to come in, I will not try to retroactively correct the situation. Effective immediately however, I will start using a rewritten version of my acknowledgement script that will both notify voters of the vote that has been registered for them, and automatically record that vote. I will also start sending acknowledgements for votes posted to c.g.p. When you receive a voting acknowledgement, please check it carefully to make sure that the vote listed is the one you meant to choose. Please do also contact me if you do not receive an acknowledgement within a day or so of your having sent in a vote; in a previous round an e-mailed vote apparently disappeared into the e-mail ether.
I apologise for the error, thank Tracy for bringing it to my attention, and cling tenuously to the idea that two hours' work a week is enough to run a consensus game. :)
John
P.S. If you're replying to my postings to cast your vote, I don't need or want another copy of my entire message to put in my e-mail archive. One line expressing your vote and identifying yourself is plenty.
