This time I'm voting before looking at any other responses. My play is LOFTY, e4. Its 22 points is second in S-conserving plays only to DEFT at 9g (27), and I believe the DES leave is much better than the LOS leave of the latter. Also, closing of the double-double row is of some importance, although the Y is not terribly prone to be ijn the middle of a 7- or 8-letter word.
