At great expense (of time and effort) I have procured at last the Oakland results of last Sunday. Sorry for the delay, but by the time I knew that nobody else had posted them and left a message for the designated cross-table maker (who had all the results ), and he got back to me some time had passed. My thanks to Bruce Ward for providing the information.

But, in keeping with the disclosures recently, I am happy to report that 90% of entry fees is returned in prizes! This is because virtually all of our expense is one item: the NSA fee to send out ratings. When we raised the fee to $20 this year, we also began the practice of giving a California State Lottery ticket to everyone who did not win a cash prize. This is one tournament where the person who goes 0-6 can be the biggest winner!
