My Family on the Web
My
grandfather
spent many years researching his family tree. When he passed away, I
inherited his notes and have ever since been gradually converting them
to electronic form. In January 1997, I wrote a few Perl scripts to let
me make
my
genealogy
available on the web, for people with browsers that handle tables properly.
There's also a
private
version available that gives fuller information: if you're in the
database and would like a password, send me
e-mail.
I'm working on a presentation of the same information that doesn't use tables,
for people whose browser of choice is Lynx.
