It's time to start planning for the annual club tournament (which will
take place June 13th, 20th and 27th).  The club tournament is an
NSA-rated tournament, but since it's a local tournament, any changes to
your rating are divided by three.

We will be honouring three club champions again this year (in divisions
A, B and C) and will therefore be playing a three-division tournament
using modified Swiss pairing.  The lists below show who is eligible to
compete in each division, and should include all local players who have
played at least one game this year.  Division breaks are at 1400 and
1700 (club rating), and if you have been within 50 points of a division
boundary at any time this season you may ask to play up or down.

Asterisked players are in the running for the divisional championships;
other players who choose to play do so solely for the glory of winning
this nine-game tournament and for the fabulous cash prizes.

Please make sure that you are available on all three nights before
deciding to play.  If you would like to play, please pay Lisa Kessler
$10 no later than June 6th.  If you are not an NSA member, you do need
to reactivate your membership to play, but we can do so on your behalf
if you give us the US$20 renewal fee.  

If according to the list below, you have a choice of division, please
indicate your choice.  If you cannot play on one of the three nights,
you are still welcome to come and play informally (as during our summer
hiatus), or act as Word Judge.
