Canadian WSC Qualifying Ratings

I'm keeping track of people's qualifying ratings for the Canadian WSC Qualifying Tournament; please e-mail me any additions or corrections you can.

John Chew

Qualifying Players

David Boys and Adam Logan get automatic byes for winning respectively the WSC and the CNSC.

Three more players will win byes for having attained the highest peak post-tournament ratings after their fiftieth tournament game in the qualifying period of May 1996 (including Calgary and Montreal) to May 1997.

Any remaining players who have played at least fifty tournament games and attained a rating of 1800 any time during the qualifying period will compete for two remaining places at a qualifying tournament to be held in Montreal on June 7th and 8th, 1997. If the number of such players is odd, the next highest peak rating player who has played fifty games will also be eligible.
