3. Director: "They're based on the Division 1 final session pairings
at the USSO/NSC. The computer figures out who is still in
contention for prize money, then matches them up with the
lowest-ranked player who can still reasonably catch them.
Players out of contention are paired Swiss. Do you want
   to hear more?"

If reply "yes", go to #4. If no, go to #1.

4. Director: "Here, take a look at this." Print out and show player
the section on Chew pairings in the chapter on pairings in the
   tsh reference manual:

   Director: "Is that enough?"

If reply "yes", go to #1. If no, go to #5.

5. Director: "Here, take a look at this." Print out and show player
the source file lib/perl/TSH/Command/ChewPair.pl in your tsh
   distribution.

   Go to #1.

7. Director: "The computer does a tournament simulation to see who
is still in contention for prize money. When there is no longer
any way to pair the contenders with each other, the number of
   allowable repeats is increased."

   Go to #1.

8. Director: "The computer will automatically Gibsonize players when
it can tell that they need to be, based on wins and spread, just
like at the USSO/NSC. It is possible that a Gibsonization situation
might develop that the computer cannot detect, if Fontes pairings
are being used, so that the pairings are based on old, stale,
standings information. If this happens, please let me know and
I will manually repair the players involved."

   Go to #1.

9. Director: "No, the last round is paired just like the rest, so
that the leading contender is paired with the lowest-ranked
player who can still catch up to him/her. This is because it
was decided at the NSC that it is unfair to lock out lower-ranked
players from a chance to win a tournament by pairing KOTH."

   Go to #1.

10. Director: "The computer takes into account the following factors
when pairing players: whether or not players are in contention
for a prize, repeat pairings, back-to-back repeats, firsts/seconds,
current rank. Would you like to know more about how the pairings
    work?"

    Go to #3.

11. Call John Chew, asks him to add the question and an appropriate
    response to this document.
