Nobody qualified for the Super Bonus Prize for going undefeated today. The person who came closest was Pachara Tritipthanakul (THA), who was undefeated after six rounds, but then played Amnuay Ploysangngam (THA) to a 394-394 tie. This was the last round of the day, and the last round that we would play here in the Siam Discovery Mall atrium. Staff will be busy tonight completing the move to the Siam Paragon mall at the other end of the Siam mall complex, where thousands of students will join us on the fifth floor Royal Paragon Hall for an amazing 12,000 square metres (130,000 square feet) of brain games. Play is scheduled to begin at 9:00, and players have been warned that clocks will be started to keep us on time. Please allow plenty of time to make your way to the playing area, as there will be lots of kids and parents trying to make their way in at the same time. We will break after one game for the official opening ceremony, which will be presided over this year by His Excellency, Mr. Ampol Senanarong, Privy Councillor. |
