Kien Hung Yeo (MYS) finally loses a game, 422-372 to Keiichiro Hirai (JPN), but finishes in first place on spread, 13-1 +2586 ahead of KC's +1472. In third place, Yoshihisa Itsubaki (JPN) 10-4 +174 after a 450-404 win over Tadao Takeda (JPN). In fourth place, Kunihiko Kuroda (JPN) 6-8 +509 despite a 406-368 loss to Warodom Geamsakul (JPN), but ahead on spread of Takeda +118 and Warodom -252.

As I write this, I'm still waiting to hear the result at Board 4, where Isao Takemura (JPN) has played Kristen Chew.

Kristen wins her first game playing as the event alternate, who finishes in 8th place 1-13 -2719 behind Takemura -1888. Every player in the event ends up winning at least one and losing at least one game.
