Tournament organizer Mihoko Terasaki announced that in response to requests from the players, she would stop the search for an alternate venue for tomorrow afternoon. Instead, we'll play a second round robin beginning next round, reversing firsts/seconds (sente/gote*), finishing tomorrow morning, then celebrate with lunch in nearby Chinatown.

Top seed Kien Hung Yeo (MYS) is playing second seed Keiichiro Hirai (JPN) this round; I have recorded the game to post later. Henry bingoed ELAPINES* (challenged off) and LUSTRINE# (withstood challenge) to KC's SHOOTER and outplay of RENEGADE; Henry wins 407-364 to remain undefeated 7-0 +1566 ahead of KC 6-1 +995.

At the end of the first round robin, each of the eight players has a different number of wins: Yoshihisa Itsubaki (JPN) (5), Kunihiko Kuroda (JPN) (4), Warodom Geamsakul (JPN) (3), Tadao Takeda (JPN) (2), Isao Takemura (JPN) (1) and the alternate player (0).
