Final results slightly delayed by a tile-found-in-bag-at-end-of-game situation, where players were tired enough that although they did not have trouble reconstructing the last four moves, they had trouble inferring from them to whom the last tile belonged, and who would therefore lose.

Other unusual rulings this round, due most likely to player fatigue:

What to do if opponent mixes provisional tiles with regular tiles? Nothing, but apply overdraw penalty if a challenge is successful.

What to do if Q cannot be found in game? Point to Q on board.

To end the day, Helen Gipson (Sco) wins a game 459-358 over Chris Lipe (USA) to retain her two-game lead going into the final 7-game day tomorrow. Alone at 12-5 is Steve Polatnick (USA); behind him on 11-6 are Lukeman Owolabi (Sco) +951, Lipe +843, Chinedu Okwelogu (NGA) +736, Winter Zxqkj (USA) +561, Theresa Brousson (MLT) +547 and Howard Wilde (Eng) +304.

Low win so far: Nancy Alroy (ISR) 341 Mario Saliba (MLT) 336.

In B, Sammy Mangion (MLT) pulls ahead by a game with a 369-313 win over Brid Ni Bhriain (IRL). One game behind on 12-5 are Mario Seychell (MLT), Maureen Hoch (ISR), Osaghaede Omijeh (NGA) and Brid.

That's it for today. See you all tomorrow!
