Partway through a game between Nancy Alroy (ISR) and Sanmi Odelana (Eng), Nancy places a word, picks it back up again along with a previously played tile, then uses that tile to make a play elsewhere. Sanmi accepts the play, then makes another, before Nancy realizes something's wrong. There is no WESPA v2 rule covering moved tiles on the board, so again codirectors Amy Byrne and John Chew came up with the following ad hoc ruling.

Nancy's play scores zero, and would have been an automatic challenge had Sanmi not made a play instead. A replacement tile from another bag is added to the game to replace the original tile, and play resumes.
