Chinedu Okwelogu (NGA) loses a second game, 315-439 to top seed David Eldar (AUS). He's still in the lead, 9-2 +1059, almost 600 spread points ahead of Steve Polatnick (USA), whose 5-game winning streak has brought him from 14th place up to 2nd. Steve and Chinedu face each other next round.

Eldar is in third place now, leading Chris Lipe (USA) and Cecil Muscat (MLT) on spread at 8-3. He plays Cecil next, and could rise to second place for the first time if he wins.

Chris plays Martin Waterworth (AUS) next, who has fallen from 3rd to 14th place on just two losses.
