David Eldar (AUS) misses this game too, but shows up at the very end, after a trip that started in Central London with a missing cab and a missed boarding deadline at the airport.

Pam Morris's (AUT) husband of 39 years celebrated their wedding anniversary by putting together a Scrabble-themed greeting card and giving it to her on the way to the airport. I thought at first that he had ordered it from the greeting card section of SamTimer.com.

(Also, I haven't been married as long, but I think I've only missed one anniversary to Scrabble, and this year, we should be celebrating together at King's Cup.)

The last result in is from Theresa Brousson (MLT) and Eileen Meghen (IRL). Theresa ended up winning, but only by one point, 395-394.
