By my count, we have players representing 15 different nations here. In order of ranking at the beginning of the round, with team size where greater than one: Nigeria, Australia (3), U.S.A. (5), Scotland (3), Singapore, Austria, Northern Ireland, Romania, India, England (7), Ireland (3), Malta (11), Norway (3), Japan and Israel. We should also have had Duncan Keet from South Africa, but he had to cancel his plans at the last minute; we're still hoping he can join us for MISO next week.

Chinedu Okwelogu (NGA) beats Chris Lipe (USA) 433-392 to retain his one-game lead. David Eldar (AUS) wins his seventh in a row to climb to second, one game back at 7-2 +725. Martin Waterworth (AUS) beats Howard Wilde (Eng) and climbs to third. Also on 7-2 are Steve Polatnick (USA) and Cecil Muscat (MLT).

After going undefeated on Day 1, Jean McArthur (USA) is winless today, now in ninth place, 6-3 +370.
