This round ran a little more smoothly than usual, perhaps because the starts were staggered significantly by the staggered starts in the previous round due to the clock issue.
Nigel Richards (NZL) wins his second game against Komol Panyasophonlert (THA) and now leads by a game, 20-6 +1085 over Siu Hean Cheah (SGP) 19-7 +1104 and Pakorn Nemitrmansuk (THA) 18-8 +1368. He has a 95% chance of making it to the finals: he just has to win one of his next three games, and it seems unlikely that he could fail to do so. Cheah and Pakorn each have a 40% chance; everyone below them is a long shot.
In the OSPD division, we've had seven dropouts from the bottom of the field; Atiruth is still leading, now by two games 9-0 +1183, ahead of four players at 7-2: Charae, Maiyarit, Piengkamol and Pasit.
