Gibsonized Nigel Richards (NZL) beats Weera Saengsit (THA) 511-333. Komol Panyasophonlert (THA) and Pakorn Nemitrmansuk (THA) do not tie, so Gerald Carter's (Eng) 429-341 win over Siu Hean Cheah (SGP) gets him a third-place finish rather than a place on stage for the finals, but he seems happy with that. Komol beats Pakorn 445-440, so it'll be Nigel and Komol in the finals, as soon as the Sudoku championship is finished.
The Sudoku championship is finished, with the Japanese finalist upsetting the defending Polish World Champion. I think next year we should have the Sudoku finalists play for the Crossword Game finals and vice versa.
