At the start of the round, Nigel Richards (NZL) on 17-2 +1243 has a 3.5-game lead over Adam Logan (CAN) 13.5-5.5 +370, and a 4-game lead over Alastair Richards (AUS) 13-6 +1192. It's do or die time for Adam and Alastair; if they both lose their games, then Nigel will be Gibsonized: removed from the pairings because he will have clinched the title.

Nigel and Alastair are playing on a regular board this round, as we are a little delayed getting the video equipment moved back upstairs from last night's poker. We hope to have it ready for the feature board match next round.
