Nigel is out this round, having been Gibsonized. He doesn't have his folding bye-cycle with him, so I don't know if he'll be going out for a long walk, or hitting the poker tables. Without him though, our numbers are even again, with 40 players playing at 20 board.

At the top board, the MSI RFID-enabled feature board, are Adam Logan (CAN) and Weibin Toh (SGP), commentating the live stream are Countdown presenter Rachel Riley and me, John Chew. It's an exciting game, which goes down to the wire, with both players holding bingo-prone racks in a tight position, but Toh ends up winning 379-350. That bumps Adam down to second behind Alastair Richards (AUS) by half a game.
