On the electronic scoreboard, players who are currently in the money places (1st through 10th) are shown in green, those who aren't are in red. As of this round, some players appear in blue: they're the ones who have no hope whatsoever of finishing in the green. As scores are entered, the scoreboard refreshes every 30 seconds, the number of blue players rises at the expense of red players.

At board 1, Charnwit Sukhumrattanaporn (THA) continues undefeated today, beating Siu Hean Cheah (SGP) in a close game 474-456. Charnwit has won 14 of his last 15 games, but with four games to go he can't relax yet until he wins just one more. Jason Katz-Brown (USA) won an even closer game, 389-385, against Maiyarit Wiwatanaratanabutr (THA) to stay two games behind. Pakorn Nemitrmansuk (THA) falls to three games behind with a 353-440 loss to Ayorinde Saidu (NGA), a few hundred spread points ahead of Lukeman Owolabi (NGA).

The five players at 15-8 - Komol Panyasophonlert (THA), Nigel Richards (NZL), Ayorinde Saidu (NGA), Panupol Sujjayakorn (THA) and Helen Gipson (Eng) must each wish that all the games above them go to the underdog, and they must win all of their own remaining games.

One more game remains before lunch.
