A few people asked about the pairings for this round. While we are using regular Swiss pairings with no repeats, they work out to the same result as what Chew pairings would have given.

If we didn't care about repeats, then the three players at 9-2, Panupol Sujjayakorn (THA), Pakorn Nemitrmansuk (THA) and Siu Hean Cheah (SGP) would play Chris May (AUS) at 8-3 in some combination. Panupol, Pakorn and Cheah have all played each other though, so we have to include the next two, Bob Jackman (AUS) and Chollapat Itthi-Aree (THA). Bob however has played the top three players, so we include one more pair: Thacha Koowirat (THA) and Jason Katz-Brown (USA).

Panupol loses to Chollapat 440-416, Pakorn beats Chris 520-369 and Cheah loses to Jason 452-421. Pakorn now leads five players by a game, at 10-2 +939. At 9-3 are Bob, Panupol, Cheah, Chollapat and Jason.

Two players have a 22 handicap score: Chollapat and Pachara Tritipthanakul (THA), at 8-4 and in eighth place.

Sam Kantimathi's (USA) 407-354 win over Nigel Richards (NZL) boosts the U.S. (that is, Sam and Jason) into first place in team standings, with a 67% record against their opposition, ahead of Singapore's 63%.
