As we expected, some players had plenty of time for dinner, others had none, so Amnuay Ploysangngam (THA) has had croissant sandwiches and bottled water brought in for us. I myself have been too busy to eat, and have a queue of takeaway containers starting to encroach on my work area, so I'm starting in on some mango with coconut rice.

The hall is emptying of the students, and with them the noise. The sound tech has switched to jazz, setting aside the beat of the Crossword Game theme song.

Pakorn Nemitrmansuk (THA), at Board 1, returns to his winning ways with a 437-389 victory over Ming Hui Hubert Wee (SGP). He and David Eldar (AUS) are now at 15-4 after David's 484-444 over Jason Katz-Brown (USA); they are two games ahead of Marut Siriwangso (THA), Ming Hui Hubert Wee (SGP), Chollapat Itthi-Aree (THA) and Odette Carmina Rio (PHL).

We will resume after dinner with Pakorn and Marut at Board 1, Hubert and David at Board 2, Jason and Chollapat at Board 3.
