Amnuay Ploysangngam (THA) has beaten Prachya Pitapho (THA) in back-to-back games 450-311 and 496-436, and has been one of the first to report in each round, as he has tournament business to conduct between games. He said that he would have lost the second game, except he tried a desperate out-bingo: EARBALLS#, and both players were surprised to find it acceptable.

Marut Siriwangso (THA) triple-tripled MEZEREON (221) against David Eldar (AUS) to win 582-418. He triple-tripled FLEECIER (140) against him last round, but lost 415-465.

John Barker (AUS) beats William Wu (TWN) 539-163, the second time this event that the 350-point spread cap has taken effect. I implemented it in tsh at last year's King's Cup, but the situation did not arise at that event.

Nigel Richards (NZL) continues to swim silently up through the ranks; his seventh consecutive victim was Jakkrit Klaphajone (THA) who contributed 87 points and a win to Nigel's record to bring him up to fifth place now from the depths of 40th place in Round 12.

Pakorn Nemitrmansuk (THA) beat Odette Carmina Rio (PHL) again, 434-399, and is now alone at 18-5 +1313. David is one game back, alone at 17-6 +761. Pichai Limprasert (THA) sneaks into third place with a 427-407 win over Ming Hui Hubert Wee (SGP) and is the only one at 16-7. Behind them are five players at 15-8: Marut, Nigel, Komol Panyasophonlert (THA), Odette and Charnwit Sukhumrattanaporn (THA).

I had to skip breakfast this morning owing to an unexpectedly large amount of business that greeted me when I signed on this morning; I am grateful that a Thai iced tea and pad thai have showed up beside me. Now if only I can find the time to enjoy them.
