Second-place Sam Kantimathi (USA) beats first-place Theresa Brousson (MLT) 415–408. Cheah is now in the lead 7–1 +722, followed by Sam +576. Helen Gipson (Sco) climbs to third place, 6½–½ +551. Then it's Theresa and Chinedu.

Sandy Nang (USA) lost 462–470 to Mohammad Sulaiman (ARE) this round, the high loss so far. Paul Mifsud (MLT) lost 448–452 to Andy Gray (Eng), the high loss so far in B.
