CHAMPIONSHIP

1277-rated Nicky Huitson (Eng) had a huge upset win 407-362 over 1916-rated Wayne Kelly (Eng). Wayne's been generally lucky though, winning six games by a total of 100 points of spread.

Nigel Richards (NZL) beats third-seed, second-place Weibin Toh (SGP) 522-327 in an important game, giving him back his one-game lead. Nigel is 13-1 +2365; Toh is 12-2 +1011, with Shanker Menon (IND) behind him +843. Helen Gipson (Sco) beats Philip Nelkon (Eng) 514-340 and is alone on 11; Philip is the only 10.
