Nigel Richards (NZL) is gibsonized manually by the codirectors to face a delighted Wojciech Usakiewicz (POL) this round, and from the happy look on his face at the end of the game, I thought Wojciech had managed a win. But no, he was just happy that he managed to keep it to a narrow 374-361 victory for Nigel.

Helen Gipson (Sco) clinches second place with another win, this time over Weibin Toh (SGP).

Philip Nelkon (Eng) has a big win, 521-455, over Wayne Kelly (Eng), but it's not quite enough; he'll be facing Shanker Menon (IND) next round with the winner getting third prize.
