After a half-hour dinner break (shortened to fifteen minutes by some of the keener players), we reconvene for the last round of the 15-round round robin. Nigel Richards (NZL) plays second seed Helen Gipson (Sco), but draws well, plays well, and dominates the game to a 524-302 victory and a 14-1 +2587 record. Weibin Toh (SGP) plays Shanker Menon (IND) and wins a close, recounted match 457-446 and is now 13-2 +1022. Shanker 12-3 +832 and Helen 11-4 +1146.

One more game to play before we break for the day, and eight more games tomorrow to conclude the event.

RECREATIONAL

Suzanne Dundas (NLD) returns from her byes with a win over husband Paul Dundas (NLD) to maintain her one-game lead over Pam Morris (AUT). Pam beats Peggy Fehily (DEU) 417-233 to pull a game ahead of Peggy and Paul.
