With Mikki Nicholson (Eng) Gibsonized against Nicky Vella-Laurenti (MLT), 2nd-place Siu Hean Cheah (SGP) faces third-place Craig Beevers (Eng) at Board 2. If Cheah wins, he finishes in second place; if he loses, he finishes in third. If Cheah wins big, Helen Gipson (Sco) or conceivably even Theresa Brousson (MLT) could overtake Craig for third.

First result in: Ruth MacInerney (Eng) beats Nicky Huitson (Eng) 399–313.

Craig wins 468–347 to claim second; Cheah is third.

Cecil Muscat (MLT) wins top prize in Class B, event organizer Nicky Vella-Laurenti (MLT) is second.
